About the teachers:
Jessica Ifshin, L.Ac., Dipl. OM, Practitioner of East Asian Medicine (EAM), Jessica has 14 years of clinical experience, is the Acupuncturist on staff at New Milford Hospital, owner of Eastern Body Wellness located in New Milford, CT, and a care provider at Kent Yoga and Body Works, Kent, CT. She refers to her unique style of practicing EAM as ‘intuitive fusion’. This combines acupuncture, therapeutic massage, aromatherapy and lifestyle counseling specifically to the needs of the patient in the present moment.
Alina Hernandez is a registered teach with Yoga Alliance (R.Y.T.). She has been teacher-certified by renowned instructor Rodney Yee, by Richard Rozen, contributing editor for Yoga Journal, and Jimamukti trained Colleen Saidmain. Alina’s training also includes work with Dr. Jamie Naughright, athletic trainer for professional athletes and dynamic anatomy teacher, as well as Anatomy workshops at the Iyengar Institute in NYC. She is featured on the covers of the Mayo Clinic and Gaiam integrated health videos.
